Don Springer is a PhD student at McMaster Divinity College. For two summers he served as a teaching fellow at the Pappas Patristic Institute in Brookline, MA; this summer he will instruct a course on the spirituality of Irenaeus of Lyons. He is also an ecumenical fellow at the Sophia Institute in New York. Following a decade of pastoral ministry in his home province of British Columbia, he and his family of six moved to Hamilton in order to pursue doctoral studies. Don’s research focuses on early Christian theology and spirituality; he hopes to draw on the wisdom of the classic writings as a means to equip and encourage the contemporary church.
