We welcome our graduands, their families, and our MDC community to join us as we gather to celebrate our 2024 graduating class.
The ceremony will take place at L. R. Wilson Concert Hall, located on the first floor of the L.R. Wilson building, located directly across the street from McMaster Divinity College. Following the ceremony, join us for a reception in Cullen Hall at McMaster Divinity College.
Livestream
For those who will not be able to attend Convocation in person, we will be live-streaming the event via YouTube. The link will be available a week prior to the event date.
Registration
Graduands planning to attend in-person should register for themselves and their guests using the link below. Registration closes April 19, 2024.
Degree Frames
Graduands can now reserve their degree or certificate frame on our website. Please choose the appropriate frame for your program. We will contact you when frames are available for pick up. Contact Melissa at westmel@mcmaster.ca for more information.
Graduation Photos
Schedule an appointment with McMaster’s Lifetouch Studio to get your graduation photos taken and to be included in the class composite. New appointments are added weekly, so if no appointments are available please check back.

PhD and DPT students who need to borrow regalia for their photo should contact Student Records at divreg@mcmaster.ca. All other regalia will be provided at the photo studio.
Ordering Regalia
Students in master’s and professional programs (MA, MTS, MDiv, Graduate Certificate, Diploma) will be provided regalia for the ceremony which will need to be returned at the conclusion of the evening.
Doctoral students (DPT and PhD) have the option to purchase or rent regalia. Many graduates choose to do so to prepare for future teaching positions.
To purchase regalia, please contact Felice Bianchini at Harcourts and she will be able to provide you with ordering and pricing information. Be sure to place your order sooner rather than later to allow adequate time for tailoring and delivery. We recommend placing the order by April 1 at the very latest.
If you are planning to rent regalia, please indicate this when you RSVP for the event. Please note, we have a limited number of gowns available for doctoral students so they are available on a first come, first serve basis.
