Welcome artists, artisans, poets, musicians, and all other creative persons to our final MDC Creative Circle.
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month on Zoom and our final meeting is next Wednesday, April 13, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Our gatherings are quite informal. We welcome professionals, beginners, and those anywhere in-between. Some participants will share artwork that they have created and will invite us to respond to it. You are welcome to attend and simply appreciate what others are doing, with no pressure to share something of your own. Or you can plan to share something that you have created. This is a generous and appreciative group that focuses on encouragement. Our final meeting is scheduled during the middle of Holy Week, the darkest week of the Church Calendar leading to the day of the greatest light of the resurrection, so we will use the theme/contrast of darkness and light as a way to look at or respond to each other’s work, whether it was designed as a theological piece or not. Come enjoy the company of other creative souls who care about each other and their artistic expressions. If you have questions or would like to let me know that you want to be involved, please contact Wendy Porter at firstname.lastname@example.org
