This month, we have PhD student Namhyo Kim presenting a paper entitled, “Considerations in Calculating Prominence by Verbal Aspect: Revelation 5 as a Test Case.” This paper seeks to clarify the relationship between verbal aspect and prominence through observing rank scale and grounding.
As we have done this year, we will be meeting at MDC (Board Room), as well as on Zoom for those who are unable to join in person. And as usual, all are welcome to join for a pre-meeting dinner on campus at 5pm (meet in front of the Board Room).
