Our final Linguistics Circle gathering for the calendar year will be held this Thursday, December 1, from 7-9pm. Our presenter this month is Dr. Dave Yoon, PhD graduate in New Testament (2019). Dave currently teaches at Emmanuel Bible College and is a pastor at Good News Church in Cambridge. His paper is entitled “The Meaning and Use of λόγος in John’s Prologue: A Lexical Semantic Approach.” For a copy of the paper, please visit the CBLTE forum. We will meet as usual in the board room at MDC, with an option to Zoom in for those who are not in the area. For those who are in the area and wish to join for a pre-meeting dinner, we will meet in the building at 5pm and head over together to the Phoenix on campus.
