This time, we’re continuing our spin-off discussion related to annual conferences, with the title “The Art of Asking Questions: From Curiosity to Connection.”
As we reflect on our experiences from the recent SBL/AAR and ETS conferences, this meeting aims to review the questions we encountered during our sessions, others’ sessions, and even those casual conversations with scholars at receptions. We’ll explore how these questions sparked discussions, provided insights, and fostered connections.
To kick off the discussion, I’ll pose a few initial questions to get us started. After that, I encourage you to bring your own thoughts and questions to deepen our conversation. Your contributions will be invaluable as we aim to create a dynamic and engaging dialogue. You can join us in person or via Zoom (link below).
MDC’s New Testament (NT) Guild is a monthly meeting open to all faculty and students studying or interested in New Testament at MDC. The NT Guild gives everyone an opportunity to meet outside our regular curriculum to discuss various topics concerning being a good NT scholar. Topics include: NT studies, theological education, scholarship, job market and job application, professional developments, and many more. For more information contact Ankit Harry or Aaron Jung
