Our seventh NT Guild meeting is on March 03, 2025, at 1:00 pm. We continue with this year’s Theme: New Testament Scholars Across the World. In this special meeting, we invite scholars like you, i.e., our international students, to share your opinions on the theme. We ask you to prepare a 7 to 10-minute reflection on the following questions to share during our meeting.

  1. Distinctive theological characteristics in the NT study of your home country (e.g., prevailing methodologies, popular research fields, academic environment).

  2. Faith and church dynamics (ecclesial atmosphere, church-academia relationships and encounters, denominational or local church experiences and challenges)

  3. Past or current social-political concerns (historical interests, recent social or political changes)

  4. Your aspirations as a future New Testament scholar and the potential impact you hope to make in your home country. (in academia, church, society in general)

This is a good opportunity to share your perspective about NT scholarship in your region/country in a relaxed and open discussion. We expect your active participation in the discussion. We hope this discussion will help us understand what it means to be an NT scholar in our own context. I encourage you to engage with your reflection and ask pertinent questions to others. You can join the meeting In-Person or via Zoom (link below).
