Start: 01:00 PM
End: 02:00 PM

Our second NT Guild meeting will take place Tuesday, February 8, at 1:00 pm.

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Bryan Dyer, who is the senior editor at Baker Academic, adjunct professor at Calvin University, and NT Book Review Editor at CBQ. He is also one of our graduates whose dissertation, “Suffering in the Face of Death: The Social Context of the Epistle to the Hebrews” had been published by T&T Clark.

The topic for this meeting will be: “Creative Ways of Using Your PhD.” Many think that the only place to use our PhD is as a faculty member of an institution, or perhaps, as an educational pastor at church. However, there are other creative venues for researchers to work on and Dr. Bryan Dyer who is both an editor and a scholar is a good example of that. I believe our time with Bryan will encourage us to think outside of the box as we envision our next step after our PhD.

Please, come with great expectancy! See u all next Tuesday.
