At this meeting, we will be discussing the issue of Pastor Theologians, that is, those who are called to lead local congregations but identify as theologians. This is a much needed perspective and for some of our students is the reason they are doing graduate work. Rev. Dr. Nathan Chambers (PhD Durham, OT) who is a member of “The Center for Pastor Theologians” will join us to share his journey and provide an opportunity for us to discuss this possibility and need in the church today.
