The Divinity Students’ Association (DSA) invites you to attend the Student, Staff and Faculty Retreat on Friday, September 9th. The retreat is a time for the MDC community to come together and center ourselves on Christ as we begin a new academic year.
In planning for this event, the executive committee realized that between the renovations of our building and pandemic closures, we have not spent much time together on-campus, as a learning community, and our fellowship has paid the price. Because of this, we felt led to prioritize in-person participation for this year’s retreat. However, while largely in-person, the morning session (9:30–11:15am) will be live-streamed for anyone who isn’t able to attend in person but would still like to participate.
The DSA encourages everyone who is able to come in person to please consider doing so. Whether in person or online, please register ASAP below if you are planning to attend! Details are as follows:
When: Friday, September 9th from 9:30am–3:00pm
Where: MDC building. The day will begin in the Nathaniel H. Parker Chapel.
What to expect: A day of worship, guided reflection, prayer, and time to mingle and catch up with friends old and new. Note: Lunch is provided!
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
