Jesse Hill

Jesse is a PhD candidate at MDC; his dissertation develops his research on the intersection of phenomenology and liturgical theology, with a particular interest in low church worship practices. After ministering in Hamilton, Ontario for ten years, Jesse and his family recently returned to their home state of Virginia where Jesse serves as a pastor in an ECO (Evangelical Covenant Order) Presbyterian church. Jesse’s ministry background includes music ministry, discipleship, and preaching, along with congregational ministry among marginalized communities. In his personal life, Jesse enjoys songwriting and recording music, as well as hiking, biking, and kayaking with his wife and three children.
