Wade C. Rowatt

MDC students will recognize this name, but this is the son of our longstanding summer professor, G. Wade Rowatt. Wade C. Rowatt is Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University (Waco, TX).  His current teaching and research focuses the psychology of religion, positive psychology, and social-personality psychology.  In 2014 he received the Virginia Sexton mentoring award from the American Psychological Association Division 36 (Psychology of Religion and Spirituality).  Wade is associate editor of the Archive for Psychology of Religion and is on the editorial board of the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and Psychology of Religion and Spirituality.  Beyond the classroom and lab, Wade enjoys running, basketball, traveling, and spending quality time with family.
