Fair Havens Ministries is an organization dedicated to providing transformative experiences for our campers and staff. For over 80 years, Fair Havens has been serving hundreds of thousands of guests through exceptional customer service, in-depth ministry, and intentional discipleship. Operating 12 months of the year, we switch gears from being a family camp to a retreat center. On top of that, we’ve been blessed with a 230-acre classroom where we host our Outdoor Christian Education program!

The Stepping Stones program has been finely tuned to intentionally deliver discipleship development to our summer staff over the past two decades. Through constant encouragement to connect with department heads, the stepping stones program pushes our summer staff to understand a deeper motivation behind work-excellence in the face of spiritual growth. On top of it all, our community life team continues to connect staff with friendships that last a lifetime.

This team will be energetic and positive Christian role models for the youth attending Fair Havens Family Camp. The ministry team is responsible for engaging morning and evening sessions for the youth who attend XT (completed gr. 4-6), Jr. Teens (completed gr. 7-8) & Sr. Teens (completed gr. 9-12), including worship, prayer, Bible teaching, activities, coordinate and run evening program activities, events, and hangout time. These leaders will assist in the facilitation of the morning skills program. Each leader will be expected to minister in both group and one-on-one settings, as they seek to be a Christ-like witness and encouragement to the youth they serve. A demonstrated spiritual maturity is absolutely needed, accompanied by a strong desire to work in the lives of youth. First Aid, CPR & AED are required for these roles.

We value our summer staff incredibly highly, and that’s why a vast majority of our summer roles are paid competitively compared to other camps.
