Position:
Contract for 1 year (Sept. 2023 to Aug. 2024), 20 hours per week, renewable
We are currently seeking a part-time staff member for our Youth and Young Adult Ministry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in youth leadership roles, demonstrate Biblical knowledge, musical abilities and sports competencies, and show a commitment to engaging with diverse, multiethnic communities.

Qualifications
1. Deep understanding and application of “Theology of Christian Community”
2. Previous positive experience in youth leadership roles, youth groups, and church participation
3. Biblical knowledge, musical abilities, and interest in participating in indoor and outdoor sports activities
4. Demonstrated ability to design and implement specific plans and programs that deliver measurable results
5. Willingness to adhere to the church’s vision and follow the lead minister’s guidance
Strong record of engagement with diverse, multiethnic communities

Job Responsibilities
1. Design and lead a Biblical activity for all youths every Sunday after fellowship
2. Serve during Sunday services alongside the Praise Team and Grace Band, primarily by 3. leading contemporary songs with the youth or young adults
4. Facilitate a young adult Bible study on Friday or another weekday in person
5. Train a contemporary music team with youth and young adults
6. Effectively communicate using social media/digital platforms
7. Conduct evangelical outreach activities to bring more young people to the church
8. Develop plans for the future of the Youth and Young Adult Ministry and its sustainability
9. Attend a meeting with the minister each Tuesday and a staff meeting on the last Tuesday of each mon
