A few weeks ago, our building contractors covered all the area that will become the Great Hall (and will need to be dug down about 1 metre) to protect it from the frost. With the average nighttime temperature being about -20 degrees the last few days and counting, we’re not sure that this will have been very successful, but we’ll soon see when we start work on it, once we have the building permits!
