One of our biggest worries has always been and will continue to be the safety of our students, especially students who need physical accommodations. As you will see when the building is finished, all entrances will be accessible. However, since we live in Canada, we are also very worried about how icy the slopes can become during our winters. We insisted (at an additional cost to our first building plan) that the walkways leading to our main entrance have heating beneath the concrete so that they are free of ice and snow during the winter months—that way EVERYONE can enter our building safely!
