It is with great joy that we announce that the Master of Arts (Christian Studies) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Christian Theology) programs are now OSAP eligible. The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides various forms of financial aid, generally in the forms of grants and loans, to students studying at a recognized college or university in the province. The professional degree programs have been OSAP eligible for a number of years. Now, and retoractively to Fall 2013, research degree program students will be able to apply for the same financial benefits. According to Nina Thomas, MDC’s Registrar and Director of Admissions and Marketing, “The OSAP eligibility of these programs will remove some of the burden of students trying to figure out how to fund their education and allow them to focus on the most important aspect of being a student—their studies.”Current and incoming students are encouraged to apply for the financial benefits offered by the Ontario Student Assistance Program.
