President Dr. Stanley Porter receives Word Guild 2014 Award

Congratulations to President Dr. Stanley Porter, who received a  2014 Word Guild award for his recent book, “How We Got the New Testament “(Baker Academic). The award honoured his achievement and success in Biblical Studies with this text.The Word Guild is a growing community of Canadian writers, editors, speakers, publishers, booksellers and other interested individuals who are Christian. From all parts of Canada and many denominational and cultural backgrounds, they are united in our passion for the written word. Their vision is to positively influence individuals—and ultimately the Canadian culture—through life-changing words that bring God’s message of hope through strengthening the Canadian Christian writing and publishing community; encouraging excellence in writing; and impacting the Canadian culture through the words of writers, editors and speakers with a Christian worldview.
