Each course has a course code that is a unique identifier of that course. The course codes follow a specific protocol to decipher discipline, units, degree family (professional or research), course number, and level. Learn more about course codes.
DPT students wishing to enrol in courses cross-listed at the 3P level will require a syllabus supplement from the Registrar. This supplement will be emailed to the students no sooner than 10 days after the registration request is received. Students are encouraged to register early to ensure they will have access to their full course requirement in advance of the course start date.
MA (Christian Studies) and PhD students wishing to take a 3P/5P level course for advanced elective credit must gain special approval from their supervisor and the VP Academic.
Focused Learning
We offer a wide range of courses available for credit or audit during the spring term. Most courses begin in May and June, with biblical language courses offered in May–June and July–August. The spring term is an ideal opportunity to explore a course and experience learning at McMaster Divinity College.

To register, first-time students must apply to a program or as an occasional student. Current students will receive an email from Student Records when registration opens.
Order Your Textbooks
All required textbooks are available from the Hurlburt Family Bookstore, located beside the Chapel entrance opposite Cullen Hall, at McMaster Divinity College. The bookstore is open most often at the beginning of each term, hours are posted on the door of the Bookstore. We have three major teaching periods, called terms. They are fall, winter, and spring. Fall term runs from September to December, winter term from January to April, and spring term from May to June. We often offer biblical language courses through July and August, which are part of our spring term.
