Anatomy of a Research Paper Workshop

In this workshop, we’ll walk through the anatomy of a research project and go through a variety of tips and practical help. We will also talk about the mental and spiritual hurdles to researching and writing well. Academic research and writing is easily the most daunting, frustrating, sometimes debilitating, but ultimately rewarding part of the seminary experience. The bad news is that there’s no easy, quick, free-of-anguish way through this all-important aspect of every course you take here at MDC. The good news is that the fight is winnable and it’s even possible to keep the upper hand through each round in the ring. If you want to gain some wisdom in doing this hard work well, then you don’t want to miss this workshop. Even if you are well advanced in your research and writing career, you can benefit from this session, and you’ll be able to share your own hard-won wisdom with others.
