David K. Tarus
David Tarus currently serves as Executive Director, Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa ACTEA, a project of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA). He has previously served as Coordinator of Scott Christian University, Eldoret Campus, and taught at several universities in Kenya as an adjunct lecturer.
He is the author of A Different Way of Being: Toward a Reformed Theology of Ethnopolitical Cohesion for the Kenyan Context (Langham), co-editor with Gordon Heath of Christian Responses to Terrorism: The Kenyan Experience (Wipf & Stock, 2016), and many articles and book chapters including: “Being Different: Imago Dei in Light of Disability in Africa,” in Madleina Daehnhardt, Nina Kurlberg, Sas Conradie, and Emmanuel Murangira (Eds), Disability Inclusion in Africa: From Harmful to Life Giving Theologies (Langham, 2025); “The Entrenchment of Ethnocentrism in Kenya’s Political Landscape and the Church’s Responses to it,” in Theodros Teklu Ed., Moral Pedagogies for Africa from Ethnic Enmity to Responsible Cohabitation.
