Ian Turner

Ian B. Turner earned a PhD in Biblical Studies (Old Testament) from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in 2023. His published dissertation is titled The (In)Coherence of Divine Mercy: A Discourse-Linguistic Analysis of Hosea 12–14 (Studia Semitica Neerlandica 78; Leiden: Brill, 2024). His other publications include articles in JNSL and JETS. His research interests include discourse-linguistic and literary analysis of the Hebrew Bible and Greek New Testament, inner-biblical allusion, and the application of linguistics to biblical languages and hermeneutics. He has worked in teaching, educational technology, research, editing, and pastoral ministry. He currently serves as the pastor of Cheektowaga Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York.
