Greg has taught the Old Testament since 2010, holding faculty appointments at Presbyterian College (Montreal), Queen’s School of Religion, Toronto School of Theology, and Redeemer University. A graduate of the University of Cambridge (PhD), his courses include exegetical methods attentive to both historical and theological contexts, aiming to equip students for faith-filled leadership.
As a seasoned pastor, Greg brings a unique blend of academic insight and pastoral wisdom to this role. He regularly participates in scholarly conferences—such as SBL, IBR, and ETS—where he stays engaged with current scholarship. His most recent paper explores the theological interpretation of Scripture.
His current projects include research on names and titles for God in Isaiah and the use of Scripture in spiritual theology. He is committed to interpreting biblical texts theologically and encouraging communities where ancient texts continue to shape present-day faith, academic life, and congregational engagement.
