Nathan Nadeau

Nathan completed his PhD in New Testament at McMaster Divinity College in 2025. His dissertation focused on a historical and linguistic analysis of the Pauline material in the book of Acts compared with Paul’s letters; it is currently under review with an academic publisher. Nathan has published peer-reviewed research articles in Biblical Interpretation, Filología Neotestamentaria, the Journal of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism, and the McMaster Journal for Theology and Ministry. He is currently co-authoring a commentary on Acts in the Brill Exegetical Commentary Series with Stanley E. Porter, as well as an edition and commentary on the “Hellenica Oxyrhynchia,” a fragmentary historical work from the classical period in the Thucydidean tradition (with Dr. Porter). Nathan’s research interests include the Lukan corpus, the Greco-Roman world, ancient Greek, the philosophy of history, and Christian theology. Nathan has taught as adjunct faculty at McMaster Divinity College and is currently an adjunct faculty member at Toronto Baptist Seminary, teaching courses in the New Testament. He has been on staff as a pastor at Jarvis Street Baptist Church in Toronto, Ontario, since 2016.
