Paul Lucas

Paul works multi-vocationally in the areas of pastoral ministry, practical theology, and technology. At McMaster Divinity College, he serves as IT Systems Analyst and Adjunct Professor in Christian Ministry. He also serves as a pastor with The Alliance Canada, where he is passionate about serving the church through teaching and intentional community. His research interests include pastoral care, community formation, and disability studies. His dissertation examined congregational identity through the lenses of social psychology and practical theology, developing leadership tools that were explored through narrative inquiry across several congregations. Paul lives in Dundas with his wife Payge, their three children, and many plants and pets.
