Overview
Emmaus Church is seeking a Christ-centered, musically gifted, and dependable Praise and Worship Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading others into the presence of God through music and a heart for fostering a vibrant worship environment.
Key Responsibilities
Worship Leadership: Lead the congregation in musical worship during Sunday morning services, selecting songs that align with the service theme and theological values of the church.
Musical Execution: Provide vocal and/or instrumental leadership (guitar or keys preferred) to guide the worship experience.
Operational Support: Responsible for the complete set up and tear down of musical equipment, instruments, and sound reinforcement as needed.
Collaboration: Coordinate with leadership to ensure a seamless transition between the worship set and the rest of the service.
Schedule & Requirements
Availability: Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Technical Skill: Ability to manage basic stage set up and sound requirements.
Character: A commitment to spiritual maturity and a professional, reliable approach to Sunday morning responsibilities.
Compensation
This is a contract position paid at a flat rate of $200 per week.
