Children’s Ministries Intern

Role Type:
Paid-Part Time Permanent– 10 to 15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours and the opportunity for full-time hours during the summer. With the exception of Sundays, some work may be completed from home.

Job Summary:
The Children Ministries Intern will provide leadership and direction for the Children’s Program at Heart Lake Baptist Church.

Reports To:
Associate Pastor

Requirements:
The successful candidate must affirm and adhere to the HLBC Statement of Faith and Core Values and comply with all Church Protection Policy requirements.

Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry

Provide leadership and oversight for Sunday morning programs, including nursery.
Help manage volunteers for various children’s ministry groups.
Organize and oversee special children’s events and performances (e.g., Christmas, Easter, Fall Festival).

Administration

Help coordinate and maintain effective communication across ministry areas.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Occasionally attend staff meetings.

Education

Prefer Seminary or Bible college student
