On May 8, 2025, the Centre for Church and Culture hosted the Christian Formation Amid Emerging Technologies Symposium, featuring plenary speakers Dr. Derek C. Schuurman, Professor of Computer Science at Calvin University, and Dr. Jeff Hardin, Professor of Integrative Biology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. We were delighted to welcome over 50 attendees.
During the symposium, our plenary speakers offered insightful talks on topics related to artificial intelligence and modern science. In addition, we welcomed 10 parallel speakers who presented on a wide range of subjects—from AI and robotics to theological reflection, human distinctiveness, and more.
