About

History & Vision

Established in 2007, McMaster Divinity College Press (MDC Press) advances theological scholarship by publishing works that reflect the mission and ethos of MDC. Our publications include dissemination of conference proceedings, hosted by McMaster Divinity College, faculty and graduate research, and contributions from scholars whose work aligns with our vision.

In partnership with Wipf and Stock Publishers, MDC Press ensures high-quality publications through a rigorous peer-review process. We oversee manuscript development—from review and editing to text preparation—while Wipf and Stock manages production, printing, and distribution. This collaboration allows us to publish valuable theological works that might otherwise go unpublished and ensures they remain accessible for years to come.

MDC Press Style Guide

The McMaster Divinity College Press Style Guide reflects the professional standards of our academic community. Just as every discipline and organization maintains its own conventions for writing and presentation, theological scholarship requires familiarity with specific stylistic expectations. Mastery of this guide not only ensures consistency in academic work but also cultivates precision, clarity, and discipline in scholarly communication, which are essential for both academic and professional excellence.
