We are pleased to invite you to the first NT Guild Meeting on September 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm. This year our Theme is New Testament Scholars Across the World. We are going to invite NT Scholars from various (non-Western) countries to share about NT scholarship, research, and challenges from their contexts. It is a good opportunity to be informed about NT studies worldwide and to connect with various NT Scholars.
To kickstart the guild meeting, we have invited Rev. Dr. Johnson Thomaskutty (Professor of New Testament and Chairperson of Biblical Studies Department at The United Theological College [UTC], Bangalore, India). Dialogue in the Book of Signs (Brill), An Asian Introduction to the New Testament (Fortress Press), Saint Thomas the Apostle (Bloomsbury), and Reading the New Testament in Asia (forthcoming, SBL Press) are a few of his published works.
