Dave obtained a PhD in New Testament from MDC in 2019. He has published his dissertation, A Discourse Analysis of Galatians and the New Perspective on Paul (Brill, 2019), and co-authored Romans: A Handbook on the Greek Text (Baylor University Press, 2023) with Stanley E. Porter. In addition to this, he has co-edited three other books and a number of articles and book chapters. As research fellow, Dave co-chairs the monthly Linguistics Circle with Dr. Porter, and is involved in writing and editing several book projects, articles, and book chapters. He also writes with Dr. Porter at domainthirtythree.com on issues of biblical scholarship, higher education, and church and culture.
