James D. Dvorak

Vice President Academic, Professor of New Testament

Jim has been teaching in biblical studies (primarily New Testament) for over twenty years, and has been in administration for over ten years. In addition to VP Academic duties, Jim teaches New Testament textual courses as well as the Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning course. He is also primary or secondary supervisor for a number of DPT and MA/PhD students. He is active in both ETS and SBL, typically presenting papers or moderating sessions at each conference every year. At SBL, he co-chairs the Biblical Greek Language and Linguistics unit with Xiaxia (Esther) Xue, an MDC PhD alumna. He also remains active in research and writing (see CV for list of publications).
