McMaster Divinity College will participate in the 43rd annual meeting of the Society for Pentecostal Studies in Springfield, MO, March 6-8.The College has three students who will be presenting at the conference.Rebecca Nicol will be presenting during the theology symposium on Thursday, March 6. Her paper is entitled “Jonathan Edwards’s Theology of Religious Affections: A Proposal for Postmodern Pentecostals.”Dan Morrison will be presenting in a biblical studies session held Friday, March 7. His paper is entitled “A New and Greater Exodus: (Re)Evaluating the Exodus Background of the Bowl Judgments in the Apocalypse.”Meghan Musy, Chair of the 2014 SPS Diversity Committee, will be presenting in a biblical studies session held Saturday, March 8. Her paper is entitled “The God of the Heavens is Most High: Negotiating the Identities of God(s) in Daniel 1—7.”The MDC admissions department will be at a booth in the exhibition hall during the conference to connect with participants.Dr. Steven Studebaker, Associate Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology and the Howard and Shirley Bentall Chair in EvangelicalThought, will also be in attendance.
