President and Academic Dean to showcase MDC programs at CCCU

President and Dean, Dr. Stanley Porter, along with Academic Dean, Dr. Phil Zylla will be attending the Council for Collaboration in Doctoral Education Fall Forum organized by CCCU (Coucil for Christian Colleges and Universities) at Biola University (La Mirada, CA) from September 28-30 to discuss how McMaster Divinity College structures its doctoral programs to promote educational development and success.
Dr. Porter will lead a session entitled, “Maximizing the Doctoral Experience: A Case Study & Dialog,” where he will discuss course planning, timeline, vocational practice and reflection, and the research and writing colloquy for PhD students. 
Dr. Phil Zylla will lead a session exploring MDC’s new Doctor of Practical Theology (DPT) program entitled, “Exploring New Models for the Professional Doctorate.”
