Excavation has started in order to prepare the place where the Great Hall will be. The fountain has been removed and is waiting in a safe place to be restored inside the Great Hall when it is finished. However, everyone is a bit unsure of how the enormous slab of concrete is going to be removed that was the base of the fountain and is right in the middle of what will become the Great Hall. For the moment, we are trying to figure out how far down it goes. It seems things were built to last in the ‘50’s!
